The intervention, started in 2010, aimed at reclaiming a portion of an old abandoned attic of a house built in 1861 in Turin. The project, custom-tailored for a young family, considered a total reconfiguration of the spaces, from the complete roofing makeover to an all-new distribution. The layout is developed around the large living room, the house's ideal cornerstone, connected to the open kitchen, participating in the domestic life. At both ends, two different bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms. The greatest attention was paid to the choice of colours and materials and the custom-designed furniture, in a water-inspired colour palette that features tones of grey, blue, green as well as bolder violet shades. Ice-white, coral-red, sage-green and turquoise hints dot this backdrop, ideally recalling the family's Ligurian roots.
